Should you get
a bike with a
suspension fork?
Even if you do most of your riding on the paved road, the answer is pretty short and simple: YES.
Why are full
suspension mountain bikes or
front suspension mountain bikes
better than one without?
First of all, contrary to common
belief, owning a mountain bike does not limit you only to riding on a mountain trail
or off the road. Mountain bikes can equally be good for riding on the
road or pavement.
Secondly, sooner or later,
you will decide to go off the beaten track. The most likely reason
would be to avoid the traffic. A typical road
bike will not give you the ease or comfort that a mountain bike can offer
with its suspension fork that can absorb the shocks along the way.
Buying a mountain bike for general purpose riding
is becoming more common nowadays.
Mountain bikes
are durable, adaptable machines that can be used for a wide variety of
purposes, including riding to work, touring or just getting out for a pleasant
or rough ride on a sunny day.
